Day 3 and 17 year-old Harley Beentjes becomes the 5th finalist for Wigan BEST,at the British Swimming Championships in Sheffield.
Harley built on his success on day 1, by completing a tough 1500m freestyle finishing in 7th position in the 17 and 18 years age group, in a time of 16:14.28 just inside his personal best.
Day 4 and the 17-18 year boys 4×200 freestyle relay comprising of Harley Beentjes – James Cross – Dec Hall – Matthew Silvester, produced an excellent performance in finishing 13th, in a time of 7:55.83, 2 seconds faster than their regional time of 7:57.
