Please note swimmers and spectators will not be allowed on poolside or in the gallery before 5:45pm for session 1 and will not be able to access the Wigan Life Centre before 7:45am on the Saturday & Sunday.
Officials
If you are a qualified official please can you register your availability on officials finder using the following link. We will need qualified J1 and J2 officials for all sessions including the Friday night.
Spectator Entry
Entry for spectators will be £5 per person, per session and will be payable on the day by cash or card.
Photography
Photography will be provided by Kieran Johnson will pictures of the event available at www.kpw.org.uk.
Please find the expressions of interest form in the following link which can be handed to the photographers on the day so they can capture your swimmer in action.
If you would like to withdraw consent for your swimmer to be photographed during the weekend, please email wbfuturestars@gmail.com with your swimmers name and club so this information can be passed to our photographer.
Car Parking
Parking around the pool can be tricky at times! If you follow this link you will find a map of the surrounding area of the pool. Car park A is not always open at the moment so we would suggest avoiding that one. Car park B is the closest of the car parks but is chargeable 24 hours a day 7 days a week. However both Car parks C and D are free of charge to use over the weekend (Sat & Sun). There are a limited amount of disabled spots around the pool as well, these can be found on both Hewlett Street and Library Street.
Skins Event
Unfortunately due to the popularity of our gala we have had to remove the skins events from our programme for both days. The gala was significantly oversubscribed so we have taken the decision to remove these events to maximise individual entries for swimmers who may be targeting qualifying times for the Winter. Please accept our apologies for this but hope you understand our reasoning.
