Congratulations to all our swimmers who competed over the Bank-Holiday weekend in Blackpool, and came away with the top club trophy. All our swimmers really where on top form producing personal best time after personal best time, and taking an array of medals.
This meet certainly showed the depth of developing talent that the squad/club has coming through. Watching the performances on Sunday morning it really struck me the team spirit that has now evolved within our younger swimmers and the fantastic fight and determination that these swimmers have developed which certainly helped them to produce this fantastic performance.
A big thank you to the coaches Dave Sivill and Chris Suggitt for their support over this long weekend and also to Jennifer Hornby and Mel Vaughan for their efforts with the swimmers without the kind of support we would not be seeing this success.
