4 BEST Relays Qualify For British Summer Nationals

Another fantastic point in the clubs development has been reached with the confirmation of 4 of our relay teams qualifying from the Regional Championships, to compete in this summers British Championships to take place in Sheffield this July.

Day 3 27th July 2017 will see our 14-16 years girls Mia Greenough, Imogen Bailey, Charlotte Nester,  Jodie Gittins  go in 18th place in the 800m Freestyle relay.

Day 4 28th July 2017 the 17 & over men Dec Hall, James Cross, Harley Beentjes, Matthew Silvester will compete in 800m Freestyle event going in ranked 16th.

Day 5 29th July 2017 the 14-16  girls Mia Greenough, Imogen Bailey, Charlotte Nester,  Jodie Gittins  will be back in action in the 400m Freestyle relay pushing hard to move up a very closely fought event from their 30th ranked place.

Day 6 30th July 2017 once again the 14-16 girls consisting of Charlotte Nester, Hannah Sheehan, Mia Greenough, Jodie Gittins will be back in the pool in the 400m Medley relay ranked 16th.

Congratulations to all the swimmers for their fantastic performance in the qualifying round. To all the coaching staff for their professional work and great efforts. To the management committee for their unrelenting support. To Inspiring healthy lifestyles Senior Management for their believe in what we do, and finally to our brilliant parents for their believe in us and our vision.

From a personal point in just 5 years it is great to see the club competing back at this level and I am sure this is just the beginning of something very exciting when I look at the unbelievable talent we have in our lower groups.
