First National Short Course Time For Charlotte

Competing last weekend at the Derventio October Short Course Open Meet 14 year-old Charlotte Nester opened her 2015/16 season with some excellent performances which included achieving her first National Short Course Qualifying Time in the girls 100m Individual Medley. Charlotte took the gold medal in the event in a National Short Course QT of 1:07.54. Charlotte went on to collect 3 more gold medals in the 14 year-girls 200m IM – 100m Breaststroke – 50m Breaststroke a silver in the 100m backstroke and bronze in the 50m Backstroke.

Swimming in the lower age of the 15/16 years James Cross started his new season with some excellent performances, just missing his National Short Course time in the 100m IM finishing in 1:04.79. James was well placed in all his events creating some excellent pb times. 200m IM finishing in 2:19.28 with the 400m IM 4:54.72. In the 200m Backstroke James powered his way to a fantastic silver medal finishing in 2:14.44.
