Jennifer Green opened the Summer National Qualifying window with two excellent performances at last weekends ESSA National Championships in Crawley. Competing for the North West Jennifer started the weekend with an brilliant personal best time in the senior ladies 400m individual medley taking the bronze medal. Day 2 and again in great form Jennifer dominated the 200m event winning the event in a season best of 2:24.26.
Wigan BEST had three swimmers selected to represent the North West in this event with Jodie Gittins taking two 4th place in the senior 200m & 400m Freestyle both in personal best times. With Hannah Sheehan coming in 5th in the 100m Breaststroke and 6th in the 200m event.
